Artist Statement
I am a designer at heart. Lines, textures, shapes, and the spatial relationships of components, fascinate me. It starts with a sketch, an arrangement of line formations providing a two-dimensional road map. Nature guides me in the beauty and efficiency of the curves and contours I attempt to express. Creating is venturing into the undiscovered and manifesting the tangible from the imagination. It is a welcome distraction from the aggravations of the world.
